While searching for unusual beauty in Amsterdam we met Izabela Laura, beautiful Polish young mother that works as a property manager, but is actually an archaeologist, she has the most beautiful blue eyes, and the face of an innocent doll, but her Greek nose and fire mark on her face, made me immediately think of this fabric I made for an installation some years ago, I thought this would be the perfect setting for her, emphasising her red stain as a beautiful decor instead of hiding it.
This birthmark makes her special, like the small beautiful imperfections in our handmade Jewellery.
We decided to make a necklace specifically for her, we wanted something black and chunky that would pop up in the pink and delicate pictures, and that's how Alex necklace was created!
Alex is a line of stud earrings shaped like human faces and Alex necklace is a short Black Statement Necklace made of black glass faces, black rubber and sterling silver.
We are very happy to announce this necklace is now available in our E-commerce and our creations are definitely becoming more our own and taking the Art Jewellery direction. This is just the beginning :)
